The Hochzeiger in the summer: From volatile to wonderful!
The Hochzeiger hiking area is 2 km above Jerzens on a sunny plateau and offers signposted hiking trails of more than 100 km for all levels, for anybody looking for relaxation or a mountain sport challenge. Access is easy with the Hochzeiger gondola cableway and Sechszeiger double chairlift to a level of 2.370 m. From here you have a brilliant view of the surrounding mountains as far as the Zugspitze.
Sechszeiger top terminal
The Sechszeiger top terminal is an ideal starting point for many hiking tours. Completely unspoilt nature and a glittering green mountain lake await you in the nature preserve of Riegetal. The three mountain peaks, ‘Hochzeiger’, ‘Hoher Gemeindekopf’ and ‘Wildgrat’ are very worthwhile destinations for experienced hikers.

- Double chairlift Sechszeiger: June 19 to October 2, 2011 and October 3 tio 16, 2011 depending on good weather
- Open from 9 am to 5 pm
