Family events on the Kaunertal glacier
Child detectives
The mystery tour for children "on the secret traces of Kauni the ibex" is a way for adults and children alike to discover the unique natural beauty and special features of the Gletscherpark in the Kaunertal. At the start of the Gletscherstrasse (glacier road) at the toll office every child can get the mystery paper. Once everything has been filled in, there is a small present waiting at the glacier restaurant.
Children's trek to the seele lakes
Throughout the upper third of the road, this easy trail can be accessed directly from the road. The footpath leads to the two small mountain lakes over an almost even terrain. Children can discover frogs, amphibians, lizards and water scooters in the wild. Duration: 1/2 hour.
Adventure playground at the glacier restaurant
Directly in front of the glacier restaurant sun terrace there is the adventure playground for little ibexes where they can take advantage of these offers:
- Free trampolines
- Rafting on the little lake
- Rock climbing with easy routes for children
- Swings and seesaws
- Tunnel slide and ropeway
