Free glacier safari at Pitztal glacier
From July to August 2012, a local mountain guide will show you the fascinating world of the Pitztal glacier.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, interested guests meet at 10.30 am at the sun terrace of the glacier restaurant Kristall. The Pitztal mountain guide Ernst guides you to the glacier of Mittelberg and tells you all interesting facts about the Pitztal glacier. You will walk over the glacier and will see impressive glacier caves and mills.
The tour takes around 1,5 - 2h. We advise sturdy shoes, surefootedness, as well as adequate sun protection.
