Summer operating hours at Pitztal glacier
From June 30th 2012, the Gletscherexpress starts into the summer season. Discover the world of the Pitztal glacier from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm every day!
- First mountain ride with the Gletscherexpress is at 8.30 am.
- After 8.50 am, the Gletscherexpress runs every 30 minutes.
- During the summer 2012, the Pitz-Panorama is closed due to construction work of the new cable car Wildspitzbahn.
Our Kristall mountain restaurant at 2,840 m above sea level is Austria's highest confectionery - the large sun terrace invites guests and travel groups to enjoy a delicious meal. The restaurant Kristall is also wheelchair-accessible!
